Geometry #3
Alan says that if a figure has four sides, it must be a rectangle. Gina does not agree. Using words, describe to me a figure that would show that Gina is correct. Use vocabulary such as congruent, angles, and parallel.

Parrellelagrams have 4 sides, squares, and trapizoids all have 4 sides. There are a lot of shapes with 4 sides and aren't nessasarily called squares.
Gina is right because another four sided figure is a paraellogram that has two sides congruent and paraell. More are trapezoids that have four sides that has lines of symmetry and there is a rhombus too.
Some of the other four sided figure are square, or a trapaziod, parrelelagram and many other 4 sided figure. The square has 4 congruent sides and there are4 right angles.

If to were two draw parralellagram then you could prove Gina right. You could prove that there are lots of shapes that have four sides that arent rectangles. plus in a parrelellagram two sides are equal and all four are congruent. if this doesnt make any sense to you sorry but it makes sence to me
